Mexico FMM (Digital Entry Form)

Enter a valid email address that you have access to. This will be used for account verification and to receive your FMMe confirmation. Use a personal email rather than a work or shared one to avoid missing important notifications.

Create a strong password with at least 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Do not use easily guessable information like your name or birthdate. Store it securely, as you will need it to log in and download your FMMe later.

Enter your first name(s) exactly as printed on your passport. Do not use nicknames or shortened versions. If you have multiple given names, include all of them in the order shown on your passport. Use capital letters as they appear, but the system will accept lowercase as well.

Enter your last name(s) exactly as printed on your passport. For travelers with compound surnames (e.g., 'García López'), include the full surname as shown. Do not add or remove spaces or hyphens unless they appear on your passport.

Select your date of birth using the calendar picker. Ensure the day, month, and year are correct. The format is DD/MM/YYYY. Double-check that you have not reversed the day and month, especially if you are from a country that uses MM/DD/YYYY.

Select your nationality from the dropdown list. Choose the country that issued your passport, not necessarily your country of residence. If you hold dual citizenship, use the passport you will travel with to enter Mexico.

Select the gender marker as it appears on your passport. The options are typically 'Male' or 'Female'. If your passport has an 'X' marker, choose the option that matches your passport, if available; otherwise, select the one that best corresponds.

Enter your passport number exactly as it appears on the biographical page. It is typically alphanumeric (e.g., A1234567). Do not include spaces or hyphens. Be careful with characters like 'O' (letter) and '0' (zero), and 'I' (letter) and '1' (one).

Select the date your passport was issued. This is usually found on the biographical page. Use the calendar picker and verify the day, month, and year. The format is DD/MM/YYYY.

Enter the expiration date of your passport. It must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in Mexico. Double-check the date, as an expired passport will be rejected.

Select the country that issued your passport. This is usually the same as your nationality, but not always (e.g., if you are a refugee or have a passport from another country). Choose from the dropdown list.

Enter the date you plan to arrive in Mexico. For land crossings, this is the date you will cross the border. For air travel, it is the date of your flight arrival. The date must be within 30 days of your application for land crossings.

Select the specific border crossing, airport, or seaport where you will enter Mexico. For land crossings, common points include Ciudad Juárez, Tijuana, Nuevo Laredo, etc. Choose the exact location from the dropdown list.

Select the main reason for your visit from the dropdown. Options typically include Tourism, Business, Transit, Study, Medical, or Other. Choose the most accurate one. If you are visiting family, select 'Tourism' unless there is a specific 'Family Visit' option.

Enter your current occupation or profession (e.g., 'Engineer', 'Student', 'Teacher', 'Retired'). If you are unemployed, write 'Unemployed' or 'Homemaker' as appropriate. Keep it concise and in a common language (English or Spanish).

Enter the full address where you will stay in Mexico. Include the street name, building number, apartment if applicable, city, and state. If you are staying at a hotel, enter the hotel name and address. For land crossings, you may enter the address of your first destination.

Enter a phone number where you can be reached while in Mexico. Include the country code if it is a foreign number (e.g., +1 555 123 4567). If you have a Mexican number, enter it with the local format (10 digits).

Enter a valid email address to receive your FMMe confirmation and a copy of the form. This may be the same as the one used for account creation. Double-check the spelling to avoid typos.

Check the box or select 'Yes' to declare that all information provided is true and correct. This is a legal declaration. Providing false information can result in denial of entry or fines.

Agree to the processing of your personal data by INM for immigration purposes. This is a standard requirement. If you do not consent, you cannot proceed with the application.

After submitting, you will receive a confirmation number and a PDF of your FMMe. Save this PDF and print a copy to carry with you. The confirmation number is essential for any inquiries or modifications.
